What Phil is

The guest-facing layer of Foyer: it sells, takes orders and requests, and hands every decision to your team.

Phil is the guest-facing layer of Foyer Intelligence. Guests reach it in the guest web app, from a QR code in the room or the stay link the hotel sends. Telegram is for your staff: decision cards and notifications.

In their own language, guests order from your menus, accept offers, ask questions, request housekeeping or maintenance and book tables.

Each of these becomes a record your staff can act on: an order, a request, a reservation or an accepted offer. Staff decide with Confirm or Reject, and the guest is told the outcome on their phone. A confirmed order is done: there is no separate delivery step.

What Phil deliberately does not do#

  • It never claims something that has not been saved. A request shows as received once the record exists, and as confirmed only when your staff confirm it.
  • It never invents availability, prices or policies. Answers come from your knowledge base; if something is missing it says so.
  • Foyer never holds guest money. Guests pay through the room folio; card payments through your hotel's own processor are coming soon. Staff confirm every room charge.
  • It never calls a guest unasked. At hotels with Phil on the phone, it calls a guest only for a wake-up call they booked or a callback they accepted.
  • Fixed rules check for emergency wording (fire, medical, security) before the AI runs and alert your team. The AI can also flag an emergency the rules miss. Guests in danger should call emergency services directly.
