The pre-arrival link in your emails

One link in your own PMS emails opens the guest's stay before arrival, after the guest proves it is theirs.

Foyer never holds guest emails. Your PMS sends the confirmation and pre-arrival emails, so add one link to those templates and merge in the booking reference:

https://foyerintelligence.com/a/<your hotel id>/<booking reference>

Ask Foyer support for your hotel id. A line that works above the link (the same words Foyer writes onto the reservation):

Your stay on your phone (Foyer). Open the link and we'll text a code to the phone on your booking:
  • Emails get forwarded, so the guest enters the 6-digit stay code, or, where codes by text are on, a 4-digit code we text to the phone on the booking.
  • A wrong code and an unknown booking get the same answer.
  • Repeated wrong codes are locked out.

Offers before arrival#

Once in, the guest sees the hotel's offers for the stay, such as a room upgrade, at the moments Phil picks within your limits:

  • Your daily cap, and one offer a day per guest.
  • The per-stay cap (offers before arrival count toward it).
  • Quiet hours in your time zone, and the guest's STOP.

Pre-arrival offers are off until you turn them on.

What offers may say#

  • Rooms left for the guest's dates, only from your PMS availability synced in the last day, and only at or under the number you set (at most 10).
  • That a room is held for the guest until a time, only when the offer really holds the room until then.
  • The share of guests who chose it, only from your own stays: at least 30 checked-out stays of that room type, and at least half of them.
  • The price per night, with the total, when the total divides exactly by the nights.
  • Before arrival, an upgrade offer may say that upgrades on the day depend on what is still available.
  • Nothing else is claimed: no countdowns that reset, no invented demand, no was-and-now prices. Push messages never carry any of these lines.
