Dashboard

The first page after sign-in: the front desk switch, guests asking for a person, and the hotel's headline figures.

The Dashboard opens after sign-in. It shows whether guests can ask for a person, who is asking right now, and the hotel's figures for the period chosen at the top of the page.

Who can use it#

  • Every teammate can open the page. The Revenue figure and chart show only for managers and admins.
  • Turning the front desk on or off needs a team lead, manager or admin.
  • Front desk and concierge staff, team leads, managers and admins can take over a guest who asked for a person.

Front desk panel#

  • The title says where things stand, for example Front desk is paused, or how many guests need a person now.
  • The switch reads Available or Paused. Available lets guests ask Phil for a person in chat. Paused means guests cannot ask for a person, and Phil keeps answering.
  • The same switch sits in the page header on every page, as Front desk On or Off. Turning it off asks you to confirm.
  • View requests opens Guests asking for a person: the guest, the status, how long they have waited, and the actions Take over, Return to automatic replies, Dismiss and See chat.
  • While guests are waiting, the panel moves to the top of the page.

A new hotel starts with the front desk paused. Turn it on once someone is at the desk to answer guests.

Figures#

  • The time range at the top: Last 24 hours, Last 7 days, Last 30 days or All time. This browser remembers the choice.
  • Revenue: room charges on the guest bill in the period, after reversals, with the revenue per check-in under it. A confirmed order that has not reached the bill does not count yet. Press it to open the Revenue page.
  • Messages: guest and Phil messages in the period, compared with the period before. Press it to open the Inbox.
  • Guests who ordered: the share of guests active in the period who have a room charge on the bill in that period.
  • The Revenue chart, and the Message activity chart with the busiest day and the replies Phil sent after hours (23:00 to 07:00 hotel time).
  • A warning appears at the top when the last PMS sync failed.
