What's new

Notable changes to Phil and the dashboard.

October 2026#

  • Staff guide: one page for each dashboard page, opened from the dashboard's Staff guide link.
  • Your Phil line answers guests too: a caller whose number is on a stay in house is greeted by first name and helped with that stay; any other caller can request a room.
  • One call unit a minute, on the phone and in the guest app.
  • Phil on the phone: guests talk to Phil in the app or let Phil call the number on their reservation, one call per call option, and callers reach Phil on your booking line. Calls are transcribed. An add-on for the Revenue plan, with one-time packs of call units.
  • One decision everywhere: every request, order, reservation, offer and room charge is decided with Confirm or Reject, and the lists are Waiting and Decided.
  • A confirmed order is done: the delivery steps are gone. Orders that need a quick answer have an acceptance time; an order nobody confirms in time closes and is never charged.
  • Every order keeps a timeline of who did what, and when.
  • Charge posting to the PMS: once switched on after a test charge, confirmed charges go onto the guest's bill in the PMS; anything refused comes back under Fix charge.
  • Dashboard redesign: a dark and a bright theme, line charts with a table view, and a Revenue page.

September 2026#

  • Room folio payments for orders, laundry and offers use a room charge ledger with caps and evidence. Card payments through the hotel's own processor are coming soon.
  • Guest verification: signed stay links and stay codes; SMS verification is built but off by default.
  • Dashboard: separate lists for new and finished items, a block of decisions waiting, and the front desk switch.
  • Documentation (these pages), with a separate Staff guide section.
