Emergencies

Fixed rules catch known fire, medical and security wording before the AI runs; the AI can flag what they miss.

Fixed rules check messages for known emergency wording before the chat model runs. The model can also flag an emergency that the rules miss. Detection is not guaranteed, so guests in danger should call emergency services directly. Phil does not try to handle the situation.

Detection#

  • The rule list covers all twelve conversation languages (English, Turkish, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese and Korean), with the deepest coverage in English, Turkish, Spanish and German.
  • When the rules miss the wording, the chat model can still flag it and give the same safety reply.

What happens#

  • The guest gets an immediate instruction to call emergency services. Phil says the team is being alerted only once the alert is saved.
  • Caught at the message gate, your team gets one alert card in one Telegram chat: the hotel's emergency chat from Staff alerts, or, when none is set, the front desk's chat, and the main staff group after that.
  • Caught by the chat assistant, it creates an urgent front desk request on the dashboard; another message within ten minutes is added to that open request.
  • The card shows the room (or No room on file), the guest's first name, their message and the time, with two buttons: Confirm when someone is on it, Reject when no action is needed.
  • The first tap decides and is shown on the card with the person's name and the time. Reject needs a teammate whose Telegram account is linked to their Foyer account on the Team page, so an emergency is never closed without a name.
  • Emergencies are not texted. Foyer texts staff only one-time sign-in codes.
